Erhart saw her oddly calm eyes staring back at him, and her face tilted to one side, just before she changed forever and her expression was the last that he knew of her, gradually fading into the dark sky. He scrutinised her dimming, disappearing eyes, until the only light that was left in them were the twinkling stars.
